So, there was an up and a down for Gabe and I since my last update. I'll start with the down since it happened first. Ugh so Gabe and I had another unexpected visit to the doctor. On May 21, I had a scheduled doctor's appointment in the morning. It was the sugar test...sooo gross...so I had to fast that morning. After the appointment...which ran later than expected...Gabe and I were on our way to meet his grandparents (who were in town for his graduation) for lunch and BOOM! This stupid ghetto woman slams into the back of us when we were stopped at a red light behind another car. She hit us so hard that I hit the car in front of me...the woman I hit checked her car and it was fine so she left...the front of my car was okay too!! So I opened the car door and the woman is standing outside of her car saying "I ain't got no insurance...I'm going to ******* jaiiiiil!!" I grabbed my phone and immediately called the cops...I was not a happy camper! Not only had I just gotten my car out of the shop for the hit and run outside of my apartment...but I hadn't eaten all day so I was starving!! Annnddd before the accident Theresa was really active and after she hit me I couldn't feel her at all so I was worried out of my mind! Thank god the cops arrived about 30 minutes later and got all of our information and advised my to go to my doctor to check on the baby. So Gabe and I told his grandparents to go to Superior Grill...which is right down the street from the doctor...because we thought the doctor would check her and everything would be fine and we would get to leave. But nooooo we had to go to the Labor and Delivery in the hospital and get monitored for 4 hours! Haha So after I got settled in Gabe went to the restaurant and ate and then brought me back chips and salsa and 3 tacos and 2 three musketeers candy bars and gatorade! It was delicious! He was so great...again! So around 5:30 we got to go home. Everything was okay with me and the baby...they just advised me to take it easy. Oh and by the way...my car was barely damaged but the woman's car was pretty bad!
And now the up!! WE SAW HER FACE!!! Ah! Such an exciting day...on May 30 Theresa's mommy, daddy, MawMaw, Grandpa, Nanny, Uncle Joshua, Cousin Beckham, Uncle Jay Jay, Aunt Samantha, Aunt Natalie, Aunty Krys, and Uncle Scott all drove to Baton Rouge to Angel Prints where we waited for about 20 minutes in the waiting room...where we got fussed at for being so loud (haha not a very big surprise!). We finally got to go in the room and they started right away! First, they confirmed that she was a girl...which she DEFINITELY is! Then when they went to look at her face, she wouldn't move her hands!! She's already stubborn...haha! After moving her hand she was hiding behind my placenta! Finallyyy she allowed us to get a good look at her face!!! And she is absolutely perfect and beautiful! Gabe and I are going to be fighting those boys off of her...I am not looking forward to that!! :/ So I was really excited about doing this ultrasound but now that I have, I'm going CRAZY!!! I can't wait for her to come now! 14 weeks is just wayyy to long to wait to hold her and kiss her and squeeze her! Ugh but hopefully this summer will fly by ( I never thought I would wish that!!) and she'll be in our arms before we know it!!
